my life post-exams

because brevity is the soul of wit, my fourth semester in one word: yes.

my last day of exams was may 13 and since that very day, i’ve been on the go, kind of like tide to go. i went to outer banks the next day and stayed there for a week. during my stay i did the following:

+ tried to memorize the look at me now rap… key word being “tried”
+ read atonement and now i’m dying to watch the movie
+ watched the sun rise aka the prettiest thing i ever did see
+ attempted to get tan, but it was overcast every time i went outside
+ went running on the beach which was the very best and the very worst
+ annoyed that it was always perfect weather when i was running and not tanning
+ ate a sinful amount of food and grapes
+ loved loved LOVED the peeps i was with
+ played mafia to an absurd degree which garnered a lingering sense of distrust except not really
+ cried because my camera’s been broken for days, weeks, months, thus my inability to capture precious kodak moments, so i stole this from isaac:

right after obx, i went back to charlottesville for uva grad aka the worst day ever because graduation is scorching and ugly. i’ll write more about angela’s graduation later. she deserves an entire disgusting (sappy) post.

after the saddest day of my life, i went home for one night to leave for deep creek lake the next day. during my week long stay i did these things:

+ played more mafia and taboo with no rules, it was intense and hurt my head
+ slept very little
+ climbed to a waterfall
+ observed people fishing
+ dipped my toes into the lake
+ read house rules
+ sat on the dock of the bay and sang that song
+ enjoyed feeble water pressure of showers at bipolar temperatures
+ went to lakeside creamery which is heaven in a cone

STACEY TOOK THIS PICTURE.

in other news, justin bieber’s “that should be me” is killing me in the best way possible. the key change hits home and gives me goosebumps all over the nation. that wretched little girl.
